Build and ship the AI features public-company reporting teams use, in weekly cycles.
You will build the features that public-company reporting teams use to draft, review, and file. Cycles are short. Most work goes from problem to production inside a week or two, and you will hear back from the people using it.
The stack is Python and Go services on Kubernetes with a Next.js frontend. You do not need all of it on day one. You do need to be the kind of engineer who reads the code around a change before making it.
Most of what you build sits on top of LLMs: retrieval over filings, agents that draft and check disclosures, and the evals that keep them honest. You will work with the models directly, test their output against source data, and use AI coding tools every day to ship it.
The bar: Our users are controllers and SEC reporting leads working to a filing deadline. “It looked right” does not survive that, so every change ships with evidence it behaves as claimed.
Most features reach production inside one or two weeks, review and validation included.
You will learn how reporting teams trace numbers to source, review changes, and get a filing out the door.
Build across Python and Next.js, and pick up Go and the deployment tooling as your features need it.
Retrieval, agents, and evals are the day job. AI coding tools are how you ship it, and we expect you to be good with them.
Send your CV and links to code or products you have shipped. Links beat attachments. If you want to stand out: send a link to something you have built and 150 words on the hardest bug you fixed in it, how you found it, and what it turned out to be. Proprietary work is fine to describe without the confidential parts.
Apply through the form, or email hr@finrep.ai with the subject “Software Engineer - Full-Time”. Include links, not attachments, wherever possible.
